Domaine Christophe Vaudoisey Meursault Les Vireuils 2016
Normally $99.95
Special $84.95

Vaudoisey Meursault label Darren Harris  30% new oak. Bright, pale yellow. Located high on the hill Vireuils is known for its race and acidity. Nicely textured with medium weight flavours of pear and peach with a touch of oak adding complexity.

Producer: Elegant wine that expresses all the typicality of the terroir that gave birth to it. A nice golden color, a beautiful aromatic richness (honey, lime, butter) and a round and silky mouth make this wine a refined wine to be enjoyed in 2-3 years.
Domaine Jomain Puligny-Montrachet 2016
Normally $116.95
Special $87.70

Jomain puligny Villages Label
Darren Harris:
The Bourgogne Chardonnay is incredible for the price but the Puligny Villages is a step up. It is more intense and layered. A melange of lemon, lime and grapefruit with a little dusty oak in the background. It is crisp and mineral with higher acid and more length. Yet it is still mouthfilling. Stylish and typical. I am often underwhelmed with Villages White Burgundy but this is just super. If you are looking for a Puligny-Montrachet to drink with great pleasure on a regular basis this is it.
Bill Nanson "The Burgundy Report":
A blend of two parcels.
A bigger aromatic profile here, a little more green herb in the mix. Similar volume the the bourgogne but more depth and richness of texture. Good and also to wait for a little.

Domaine Jean Durup Chablis 1er Cru L'Homme Mort 2016
Normally $64.95
Special $54.95

DSurup Homme Mort Label
L'Homme Mort is a climat of the Premier Cru Fourchaume. Austin Biss, in his standard reference A Guide to the Wines of Chablis says "L'Homme Mort, a climat within  Fourchaume, is located at the northern end towards Maligny and is a special favourite particularly in the hands of Domaine Jean Durup who own a large parcel - the wine displays an attractive earthy flavour with an added dimension. Jean-Paul says that the name is attributed to the number of miscreants buried there after being hanged near the Chateau de Maligny just up the road, before he took over that is".

Darren Harris:Tangerine, a hint of musk, rose water. Something intriguing and faintly exotic. Nice breadth and texture on the palate with fine, lingering acidity. Long and complex.
Domaine Brigitte Berthelemot Beaune Longbois Blanc 2015
Normally $73.95
Special $62.95

Berthelemot Longbois
Darren Harris: When writing my tasting note for the 2015 I looked back over my reviews for past vintages of this smart little white from Beaune. It is amazing how consistent my notes are. Every vintage this wine delivers a nose of citrus and flowers. It is fresh and lively, and light on its feet. Perhaps a little Chablis-esque with a dash of Puligny acidity and Meursault texture. It is always a delight. The 2015 is another great wine in the series and for those looking for a high quality, well priced white you simply can't go wrong. It is a real winner!
Au Pied du Mont Chauve St-Aubin 1er Cru Pitangerets 2014
Normally $93.50
Special $79.50

Pied du Mont Chauve Pitangerets
Darren Harris: Bright and racy with attractive floral and orchard fruit elements enhanced by a little complexing sulphide. The freshness and acidity of the 2014 vintage elevate this to another level. An affordable Premier Cru from St-Aubin which is now on everyone's watch list for both quality and value for money.
Domaine Collet Chablis 1er Cru Les Forets 2016
Normally $72.95
Special $61.95

Collet Foret Label
Tim Atkin MW:This is now the fourth vintage of Romain Collet's concrete egg-fermented Premier Cru white, which is now established as one of the best interpretations of the site. Spring flowers, white pepper and a hint of crunch celery combine appealingly on the palate, with lovely lees and a fine, salty finish. 2019-25. 94 Points

Domaine Bernard Millot Puligny-Montrachet Les Corvees 2016
Normally $125.95
Special $107.00

Millet Puligny label Darren Harris:
Light and bright. A nose of white flowers, pear and a little white peach. Very pure. The palate unfurls with more fruit, a serious lick of saline minerality and classic Puligny-Montrachet acidity. Fine and detailed - the 10% new oak not discernable. The lasting impression is a delightful sense of elegance and style creating a gorgeous bottle of wine. It is is very reasonably priced for the quality.
Domaine Jean Chartron Savigny-le-Beaune Les Pimentiers 2015
Normally $81.95
Special $69.50

Chartron Pimentiers 2015 label John Gilman "View from the Cellar":
The 2015 vintage produced some lovely examples of Savigny blanc, in the cases where producers were not hustling to bring in their red grapes first in the village. This of course was not an issue at Domaine Chartron and their 2015 Pimentiers Blanc is excellent, offering up a vibrant nose of apple, pear, lime zest, chalky soil tones, spring flowers and discreet base of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, crisp and very well-balanced, with a good core, fine length and grip and a long, vibrant and nascently complex finish. 2016-2025+. 91 Points

Domaine Fernand and Laurent Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet 2016
Normally $104.50
Special $88.75

Pillot Chassagne Villages label From 5 parcels in Chassagne - the 2 principal located close to the village - La Bergerie and Le Chene. The soil is rich in limestone ensuring an acid freshness. 25% new oak. The wine exhibits orchard fruits with medium body and a fine finish.

Seguin-Manuel Rully Vieilles Vignes 2015

Special $52.50
L and C Poitout Chablis Vieilles Vignes Les Venerees 2015
Normally $54.50
Special $46.30

Poitout Venerees label The Vénérées Vieilles Vignes comes from 58-66 year old vines in the "Sous plaine de Serre" and "Les Ardiats" vineyards planted on a southeast facing slope in the commune of Fleys. The soils here are Kimmeridgian but with large chalky stones. Hand-harvested, the wine is fermented in stainless steel, where it stays until Spring, at which time it is lightly fined and filtered. This wine offers sap, pears, pith, apples and chalky lemon, all carried through on a medium elegant frame that is both delicate and powerful. The mouthfeel is bright and crisp, ending in a long grippy finish.
