Louis Latour Corton 2016 Header
Huge Scores from James Suckling including 99 Points for the Corton Grancey!

The 2015 Corton Grand Cru Reds from Louis Latour received tremendous reviews. For those of you who ordered them the wines are on the way from France.

Overnight we received an offer for the 2016's and we were amazed to see that the wines have received even better reviews from James Suckling than the wonderful 2015's. The Corton Grancey has received an unbelievable 99 Points. That's up there with the greatest Grand Crus from Vosne-Romanee.

There's not much to say except be quick!

This is really classy with beautiful tannins and pretty ripe fruit. Linear and fine. Full body, gorgeous tannins and a breathtaking finish. Wow. Drink in 2022.

Latour Corton Perrieres
James Suckling Tasting Report:
Very complex nose with black fruits, as well as spicy, earthy and animal notes. In spite of the power and concentration, the wine is still sleek and racy. Breathtaking finish! Think long term. This will gain so much through two or three years of patience.
