Pavillon Corton-Charlemagne
Tim Atkin MW: This impressive Grand Cru white is sourced from Les Languettes, an east-facing lieu-dit on the south side of the hill of Corton. It's a rich, powerful, waxy style, with lots of texture and weight, stylish oak and the freshness, focus and palate length that make this such a remarkable terroir. 2020-28. 96 Points

James Suckling Tasting Report:
This has a flinty appeal with aromas of white peaches and lightly spiced peach custard. Very impressive power, which really explodes on the palate with powerful white peaches, grilled hazelnuts and citrus hints. A little honey to close. Very long and seamless. Superb wine. Drink or hold. 95 Points

Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes 2016
Landed Price $195.00
Pre Arrival Price $165.00

There were lots of shot berries (millerands) in this vineyard in 2016, made from three plots in the lower part of Charmes that add up to 1.17 hectares. Racier than many Charmes - you could mistake it for a Perrières - it has sappy, crunchy, white pepper and citrus notes and a hint of stone fruit sweetness. 2020-28. 94 Points

James Suckling Tasting Report:
Some neat chalky elements to the nose with an array of melon, peaches and citrus notes. It delivers a supple and even palate. Fresh finish and good length. Drink now. 92 Points

Corton des Marechaudes Grand Cru MONOPOLE 2016
Landed Price $279.95
Pre Arrival Price $237.95

Pavillon Marechaudes GC Label
Tim Atkin MW: The soils are very poor and bony in this upper part of the Les Maréchaudes climat, producinga wine that is muscular, concentrated and savoury, with classically meaty, savoury Corton flavours, rich black cherry and blueberry fruit and a long, refreshing finish. 2024-32. 95 Points

Jasper Morris MW: Made in exactly the same way as the Aloxe-Corton version, but this comes out with a deeper purple colour and a greater succulence of fruit, which covers the tannins more, allowing the acidity to provide the structure. 93 Points

Domaine du Pavillon Corton Clos des Marechaudes Grand Cru MONOPOLE 2015
Gold Medal and Trophy for the Best Corton at the International Wine Challenge 2017
IWC Trophy NV
"Wild and breezy with bright bramble fruit and a lovely rounded but dense palate. Classic, stony Corton fruit with a lovely balance between richness and invigorating freshness."

Tim Atkin MW:Located in the same clos as the Premier Cru of the same name, this comes from the upper part of the vineyards where the soils are very poor indeed. It's a very pure expression of the Grand Cru, with pepper spice and red berry flavours, chalky acidity and fine tannins, especially for a Corton. 2024-30. 94 Points
