2015 Vosne-Romanee. $79.95 a Bottle by the Case! That's Bourgogne price! Last 57 bottles.

Chevillon-Chezeaux Vosne 2015 79.95
It's amazing what you can find in Burgundy!
We have been importing the wines of Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux since 2011 but it wasn't early last year that I realized Philippe made a Vosne-Romanee.
His vines are all in the lieu-dit La Croix Blanche and when I asked why he didn't put the vineyard name on the label Philippe said the name doesn't sound that good. Well it rings bells for me!
This Vosne-Romanee is superbly priced ex-cellars and our shipment arrived last week.
We have 57 bottles left and for today only, you can buy the wine at a 15% discount for singles or 20% discount by the case of 12. These days that's the price of many Bourgogne.
You decide - do you want to rejoice with a case of Vosne-Romanee or stick with Bourgogne? I know what I'd do!

Chevillon-Chezeaux Vosne Label Darren Harris: Six barrels produced in 2015, 100% from the lieu-dit of La Croix Blanche. Bright red. Sexy nose of violets, rose petal and red-black fruits with underlying spice. Super aromatic and immediately recognizable as Vosne-Romanee. Medium bodied palate with elegance and nice intensity of airy red-black fruit over a mineral spine. Spicy, fine and detailed. Tightens up on the finish with fine grained tannins. A deft hand has made this wine.

Unbelievable value for a wine from Burgundy's most sought-after commune.
