Dubreuil-Fontaine Corton Grand Cru Reds from 2009 and 2010. Make sure you have some!‏

Dubreuil-Fontaine Make Sure Header

At the risk of sounding like a broken record....

do you have some Dubreuil-Fontaine Corton Grand Crus in your cellar? If you don't you really should.

Our first shipment arrived a month ago and all but a few bottles of it has sold. Shipment two will be here at the end of September and it too is well on the way to selling out.

I have opened all of the wines in the last two weeks. At a recent 2009 Corton Grand Cru tasting the Dubreuil-Fontaine wines topped their brackets, outscoring wines from Meo-Camuzet, Pousse d'Or, Bonneau du Martray, Clavelier and Rapet. The 2010 Corton Perrieres opened last night was minerally and complex - Classic Corton!

What is so amazing is that the wines are extremely affordable. We have the 2009s in stock at just $112.00 a bottle. More 2010s are on the way and they $95.00 a bottle Pre Arrival. That is less than the price of many Premier Crus!

Burghound has reviewed the Bressandes and Clos du Roi but you exclude the Perrieres at you own peril. It might just be the best wine of all!

And what about a little 2010 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru White?

Dubreuil-Fontaine Corton-Charlemagne Label

Normally $150.00

Pre Arrival Price $128.00

Burghound: A touch of reduction does not materially detract from the elegant, pure and gorgeously complex aromas of green apple, rose petal, green fruit and an almost pungent minerality that also makes quite the impression on the exceptionally rich, intense and overtly powerful flavors. This is a big wine with excellent mid-palate concentration that does not compromise the sense of focus and tension on the explosively long finish. This is a knockout with plenty of aging potential. A Sweet Spot Wine. 94 Points
