Bourgogne Pinot Noir $38.95
Volnay 1er Cru from $111.95
New Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Abbaye de Morgeot
Last year we added Domaine Pascal Bouley to our portfolio. This small family owned domaine is just 9 hectares in size but their range of wines includes six serious Premier Cru Volnays including Clos de Chenes, Champans, Santenots and the Monopole Grands Champs.

It is a terrific range of serious Volnay, all with unique personalities. Unlike many small domaines, Pascal Bouley, due to the efforts of the son Pierrick, is visited and reviewed glowingly by the wine critics. The 2014's received wonderful reviews from Burghound and he again visited and tasted the 2015's with similar high praise. We are too early for reviews of the 2016's but I expect they will continue the trend.

With the frost issues of 2016 production at Domaine Bouley was down an significant amount. The domaine has been forced to raise their prices to compensate for the small crop.

However, to help offset the price rise ex cellar we have decided to make the 2016's available at a 25% Pre Arrival Discount. This is for a limited time only.

Many of you have purchased the 2014's and 2015's and will know what superb drinking these wines are. At our 25% discount they remain very good value. This year the Bouley's have added the white Premier Cru Chassagne-Montrachet Abbaye de Morgeot to their range. It would be worth grabbing a few bottles of this historic first release. And one should not forget their Bourgogne Pinot Noir made from Volnay fruit.

More Volnay
Volnay is loved for its Cote de Nuits-like aromatics and silky finish with a few years in bottle.
It also ages extremely well.
