Roblot-Marchand Vosne Rouges Label
Darren Harris:
Deep red colour. Completely different aromatic profile to the Chambolles. Raspberry and cherry and a very pronounced Asian spice element. On the palate the wine is dark fruit and violets with exotic spice elements and a stoney mineral tang. Balanced, fresh and medium bodied on the mid palate. I like the way the tannins gently enter and drive the wine to its finish. Benchmark refined Vosne-Romanee from a great vintage.

Seguin-Manuel Vosne-Romanee Aux Communes 2015
Normal Price $144.95
In Stock Special Today $123.20

Seguin-manuel_vosne_label Darren Harris:
Medium red colour. Attractive nose of red fruits: strawberry and mulberry, Vosne spice and some florals. The palate has sappy red fruits and spice elements, is fresh and punchy, and is of medium weight. There is a depth of flavour so typical of 2015 which is balanced by the classic Vosne elegance and style. It has worked wonderfully well across the board in 2015. The persistent finish is driven by lively, fine tannins, also a hallmark of this great vintage.

Domaine Philippe Cheron Vosne-
Landed Price $155.50
Pre Arrival Price $132.50

Cheron Vosne Label Darren Harris: Les Barreaux, made famous in recent years by Domaine Anne Gros, is wonderfully sited lying above Richebourg and Vosne-Romanee Cros Parantoux and alongside Petit Monts and Beaux Monts. Like its big brothers it produces a deeply coloured wine and those with an interest in wines of yesteryear will be delighted to know that Les Barreaux played a big part in the legendary Henri Jayer's Village Vosne-Romanee. Dark in colour. Aromatic nose with blacker fruits than the two Chambolles. Spices and minerals. Concentrated with plenty of extract and an underlying coolness. Quite muscular - more Richebourg than Romanee-St-Vivant in style. This is a serious lieu-dit which will age magnificently. And it is extremely well priced.

Domaine Michel Noellat Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts 2015
750ml Landed Price $239.50
Pre Arrival Price $203.50
1500ml MAGNUM Landed Price $499.95
Pre Arrival Price $424.95

Noellat Beaumonts Label Wine Advocate - Neal Martin:
The 2015 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts has a refined bouquet with plenty of what we call "Pinoté" - quite Lamarche-like in style. There is a touch of reduction though that will ebb away with time. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red and black fruit, a keen line of acidity and better precision and nervosité than the Les Suchots. There is drive and focus to this premier cru, as well as excellent length. This is well worth investigating. 92-94 Points

Domaine Jerome Chezeaux Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Suchots 2015
Landed Price $217.95
Pre Arrival Price $184.95

Jerome Chezeaux Suhots Label 8cm Darren Harris: Vibrant red colour. A little closed to start then with some air the wine gushes forth with a nose of violets, cherry, spice and minerals. This is not a heavy weight but the aromatics are so pure and fine that the wine is almost hauntingly beautiful. The nuances come in gentle waves. The palate has the flavours, lift and weightlessness that the nose suggests driven by a long spine of minerals and acidity. It is fine and so delicious. Elegance personified!

Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux Vosne-Romanee 2015
Landed Price $99.95
Special Pre Arrival Price $74.50
Case of 12 Bottles $839.40

Chevillon-Chezeaux Vosne LabelDarren Harris: Six barrels produced in 2015, 100% from the lieu-dit of La Croix Blanche. Bright red. Sexy nose of violets, rose petal and red-black fruits with underlying spice. Super aromatic and immediately recognizable as Vosne-Romanee. Medium bodied palate with elegance and nice intensity of airy red-black fruit over a mineral spine. Spicy, fine and detailed. Tightens up on the finish with fine grained tannins. A deft hand has made this wine.

Domaine Christian Clerget Vosne-Romanee Les Violettes 2015
Landed Price $195.00
Special Pre Arrival Price $146.25
Only 7 left

Clerget Violettes 2 Burghound: (from .50 ha parcel planted in 1946; Les Violettes abuts Clos de Vougeot). As the name would suggest there are indeed nuances of violets on the perfumed nose of red and dark currants that is liberally laced with various spice elements. The sleek, focused and vibrant middle weight flavors possess excellent depth and persistence for a villages level wine; moreover the natural class of Vosne is evident and this is worth checking out. 89-91 Points
