A classy single vineyard Meursault at a Great Price

Meursault has some terrific Villages vineyards. For me the best lie above the Premier Crus high on the hill. Here it is a little cooler and the wines are always finer with a stronger acid spine.
I am a big fan of Narvaux and Les Tillets but I wasn't familiar with Les Clous. A quick glance at Inside Burgundy by Jasper Morris MW and I see, not surprisingly, that it also lies high on the Meursault slope alongside Tillets at the same elevation. In my opinion, the sweet-spot area for Villages Meursault.
We have 45 bottles in stock and as part of our Festive Season Sale I offer them at a 40% discount. But only for 48 hours or until sold out.
If you are looking for big name Burgundy commune wine at a small price this is just the thing. The wine is fresh and fine - delightful with shellfish or light white fish/meat dishes.

Darren Harris:
A very fine and mineral driven nose, almost piercing in it definition. Very fresh and focused, quite reminiscent of Chablis in its acid, line and drive. Fine. Lively. From high on the hill and showing all the benefits of the cooler site. Meursault at is finest, with citric rather than buttery-nut notes. A lovely wine with shellfish.
