Pied du Mont Chauve Pitangerets
Darren Harris: Bright and racy with attractive floral and orchard fruit elements enhanced by a little complexing sulphide. The freshness and acidity of the 2014 vintage elevate this to another level. An affordable Premier Cru from St-Aubin which is now on everyone's watch list for both quality and value for money.

Jancis Robinson:
Easy, heady perfume. Ripe pear and dusty summer flowers with a tiny bit of smoky reduction. Rounded fruit offset by gunflint, angling the palate towards a more savoury edginess of fennel and liquorice. Quite robust, but smooth, planed surfaces and just a whisper of oak. 16 Points

Pavillon Corton-Charlemagne
Last 10 Bottles of the multi award winning Corton-Charlemagne 2015 from Domaine du Pavillon
Always a seriously good Corton-Charlemagne the 2015 Pavillon has received Gold Medals at both the Decanter World Wine Awards 2017 and International Wine Challenge 2017.
Decanter World Wine Awards 2017: Opulent and serious with many layers and a brocade of apricot and peaches garnished with smoke and yoghurt; oak tannins, toast and smoke join on the sustained finish. A classy, superb food style. 95 Points and Gold Medal

Tim Atkin MW:
Picked comparatively early - Corton-Charlemagne can be a rich wine as it is - this is a very well judged expression of the Grand Cru, which has minimised the effect of the hot conditions. Zesty, leesy and sensitively oaked, with a lovely combination of power and focus. Balanced and long. 2018-25. 95 Points

Normally $363.95
