Ten Vintages of DRC La Tache!

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

2 Seats left - don't miss out

DRC La Tache - is it the greatest wine in the world? Certainly many Burgundy drinkers would list it as their desert island wine.

Owned entirely by the Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, La Tache is one of the most exhilarating of all Burgundies. It is a wine of complexity, nuance and spice that frequently exhibits the "peacock's tail" so desired in red Burgundy.

This dinner showcases La Tache and features ten consecutive vintages from 1999 to 2008.

The wines will accompanied by a matched 4-course meal. We will start with champagne, follow this with a bracket of Grand Cru White Burgundy, then the main event - 10 vintages of La Tache from 1999 to 2008. To finish, some aged vintage port.

Date: Tuesday 7 August 2012

Time: 7pm

Venue: Cellar Room, The Point Restaurant, Albert Park Vic

Price: $3,095.00 per person

Only 2 Seats still available

There will be a maximum of 12 people (including myself) to ensure everyone receives a good glass of each wine.

If you are serious about Burgundy you won't want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime occasion. With the prices of DRC wines rising rapidly due to interest in Asia this dinner represents an opportunity that may not exist for much longer. Who knows if or when the chance to taste 10 different La Tache in one sitting will next occur!
