Domaine Georges Lignier Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 2015

1500ml Landed Price $880.00

Lignier Roche Label
Tim Atkin MW:
The Clos de la Roche bottling is generally richer and broader than the Clos St Denis at this domaine and that's the case here. Sourced from four parcels in Chabiots, Fremières, Mochamps and Clos de la Roche itself, it's another brilliant red from Benoît Stehly. Mocha oak, dark berry fruit, fine-grained tannins and a core of refreshing acidity. First class winemaking. 2025-35.

Albert Bichot Clos-de-la-Roche Grand Cru 2015
Landed Price $537.95
Pre Arrival Price $456.95
4 bottles left

Bichot Roche Label Tim Atkin MW: Sourced from a single supplier of grapes - that the Bichot team decide when to pick - this isa very impressive rendition of one of Morey-St-Denis' two great Grands Crus. It's a serious, fairly muscular wine, with plummy concentration, pithy acidity and well-integrated oak. 2025-35

Domaine Georges Lignier Clos St-Denis Grand Cru 2015
750ml Landed Price $350.00
Pre Arrival Price $297.50
26 bottles left

Lignier Clos St Denis Label Tim Atkin MW: One of the parcels that make up the domaine's holdings of the Grand Cru is literally in Benoit Stehly's back garden. This old vine cuvée sees 50% whole bunches and shows the freshnes and fragrance of the Grand Cru. Silky, vivacious and skilfully oaked, with raspberry and loganberry sweetness and a light, tangy finish. 2022-32
. 96 Points

Domaine du Clos Frantin Echezeaux Grand Cru 2015
Landed Price $495.00
Pre Arrival Price $420.50
16 bottles left

Frantin Echezeaux Tim Atkin MW: The Bichot parcel is located in the Champs Traversins lieu-dit, where it is influenced by the proximity of the Combe d'Orveau. This is the best Clos Frantin Echézeaux I've ever tasted, achieving new levels of finesse and balance. Floral, bright and textured with very subtle oak. 2022-30.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2015
Landed Price $365.00
Pre Arrival Price $310.00
11 bottles left

Drouhin-Laroze Vougeot Label Tim Atkin MW: "Like everyone else, I'm in the best bit of the Clos," jokes Philippe Drouhin, but he really is. This is a rich, plus, dense expression of the terroir, with 40% whole bunches and 80% new oak. Thick and concentrated, with dark bramble and blueberry fruit, it's a wine to age. 2026-35.
 94 Points

Domaine du Pavillon Corton des Marechaudes Grand Cru MONOPOLE 2015
Landed Price $262.95
Pre Arrival Price $223.50
30 bottles left

Pavillon Marechaudes GC Label Tim Atkin MW: Located in the same clos as the Premier Cru of the same name, this comes from the upperpart of the vineyards where the soils are very poor indeed. It's a very pure expression of the Grand Cru, with pepper spice and red berry flavours, chalky acidity and fine tannins, especially for a Corton. 2024-30.
