Collet 2014 Chablis Burghound
New Burghound Reviews!
Our Stocks of 2014 Chablis from Domaine Collet are very low
Domaine Jean Collet was founded in 1952. The domaine comprised just 0.61 hectares and the harvest was sold to the negociants. In 1954 part of the harvest was domaine bottled and in 1959 the first exports to the USA commenced.

Gilles joined his father in 1979 and Romain, the fourth generation returned from wine school in Beaune and working abroad to complete the team in 2009.
Today the domaine has expanded to 40 hectares, from Petit Chablis, via village Chablis and premier cru, up to grand cru. Around 10 hectares are farmed organically.

Colet Milieu label The holdings include most of the top Premier Cru vineyards including Butteaux, Montee de Tonnerre up to the Grand Crus Les Clos and Valmur.
Collet Vaillons Label Like Domaine Raveneau, the Collets use oak on some of their cuvees. The amount varies depending on the wine.

The wines are in stock but quantities are now very low. With the excellent reviews from Burghound I expect more cuvees will sell out today.

Until midnight tomorrow you can pick up Collet Chablis at what was our original Pre Arrival Prices. But you will need to act quickly as this is all that remains.

Bishop Sessa Dinner Nov16
12 Burgundy Producers Dinner at Bishop Sessa, Sydney
It has been too long since our last Dinner in Sydney. We'll be back again on 7 November 2016 with a Dinner showcasing 12 Different Burgundy producers from our portfolio.
I have selected 12 wines that I am sure our Sydney clients will find interesting. We start with a trio of Chablis from the magnificent 2014 vintage. We'll then move to a pair of Premier Cru White Burgs. After that there are two brackets of Red Burgundies from seven of our favourite producers.
The dinner presents an opportunity to explore a number of the Burgundy producers in our portfolio, try some unfamiliar names and sample the wonderful 2014 whites.
The venue for the dinner is Bishop Sessa in Surry Hills. Chef Paul Cooper is producing some excellent food.
Seating is limited so please book quickly if you wish to attend.
