12 Communes, 12 Premier Crus, 12 Makers....
Our last dinner at Noir was a huge amount of fun. In response to many requests our next dinner will be something of a guided tour through Burgundy.
 
This dinner will be a carefree wine trip around the communes of Burgundy from south to north through the Premier Cru vineyards. We will look at 12 different Premier Crus from 12 different communes. And in keeping with the theme the wines will come from 12 different makers.
 
The dinner will be fun for all familiar with the wines of Burgundy. It will also provide background and education for those discovering the splendours of the region.

Castagnier 2012-2013 Dinner Header
Jerome Castagnier is producing wines of exceptional style and precision. Since he took over from his father in 2007 the quality has rocketed and today he is on all the critics watch list.

I have been telling you how good his wines are but we have had nothing in stock. Our 2012's and 2013's are almost here and I thought it would be a good opportunity to showcase these terrific Burgundies. You can see what all the fuss is about!
 
I have put together a dinner featuring 13 of Jerome's reds. They run the full gamut from Bourgogne to Grand Cru. For those of you partial to Grand Crus there are 6 different to try!
