Rouge-Bleu Mistral
Producer: Direct, featuring a good core of plum and blackberry fruit, studded with toasted spice and bramble hints. A flicker of mesquite appears on the finish. Wine Spectator: Ruby purple colour, on the nose black fruits spices liquorice and mint. Good concentration on the palate, chewy tannins and a finish following through from the nose.

Domaine Paul Pernot Puligny-Montrachet 2012
Normally $117.95
Special $70.75 Save 40%
26 available
Pernot Puligny
Burghound:
(from 4 different parcels within Puligny, including Blagny from vines that average 50 years of age; this too was vinified in steel but the élevage occurred in barrel, of which only 5% were new). As one might reasonably expect, this is more aromatically elegant with its lovely nose of acacia blossom, pear and apple. There is good volume to the medium weight flavors that possess plenty of dry extract that imparts a seductive texture to the delicious, balanced and persistent finish. This is not super complex but it's certainly not without appeal, plus more depth will undoubtedly develop with a few years of bottle age. 88 Points

Domaine Gaston and Pierre Ravaut Corton Hautes Mourottes Grand Cru 2013
Normally $185.00
Special $111.00 Save 40%
16 available

Ravaut Murottes Decnater:
Equal top score in Decanter Magazine's 2013 Burgundy Tasting (February 2015) with the Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Corton 2013. Both wines awarded 92 Points.
Beautiful strawberry characters are well supported by cherry and cinnamon notes. Lively on the palate with a red berry finish. 2016-2024.
92 Points
Chateau de la Tour Clos Vougeot Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru 2011
Normally $449.00
Special $299.00 Save 33%
8 available

Chateau de la Tour Vougeot VVBurghound:
(from vines that were planted in 1910). Deep ruby. An intensely floral nose is composed of cool but ripe red pinot, dark currant and plenty of pungent earth scents. There is more size, weight, power and concentration to the imposingly constructed flavors that are both supported and shaped by the tightly wound and extremely firm tannins, all wrapped in a mouth coating and hugely persistent finish. This displays terrific potential but it is a robust wine to buy only if you have the wherewithal and patience to wait.
94 Points
Chateau Tirecul la Graviere Monbazillac MADAME MAGNUM 2009
Normally $785.00
Tirecul Madame Label 2 Special $471.00 Save 40%

Gault and Millau:
The sweetness of nectar honeydew. A bottom composition of the best royal jelly with a subtle touch of orange blossom. To make you crazy. The creamy texture is masterful. A beautiful vintage.

Domaine Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot Minervois La Ciaude 2012
Normally $73.50
Special $36.75 Save 50%

Gros Tollot Ciaude LabelJeb Dunnuck:
The 2012 Minervois La Ciaude, which is mostly old-vine Carignan with smaller parts Syrah and Grenache, also has serious minerality to go with tangy black cherry, black fruits, leather and violet aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, tight, energetic and elegant, it will have a decade of longevity.
91 Points

Domaine Tour Saint-Michel Chateauneuf-du-Pape La Cuvee du Lion 2012
Normally $93.95
Special $56.35 Save 39%
18 available

Tour St Michel Lion Label 3 Robert Parkers's Wine Advocate:
The 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Du Lion is a seriously dense barrel sample that offers traditional-seeming notes of cassis, blackberry, roasted meats and licorice to go with full-bodied richness, loads of fruit and sweet tannin on the palate. Also beautifully put together, it can be consumed on release or cellared for a decade or more. Drink 2014-2026. 91-93 Points
Domaine Christian Clerget Vougeot 1er Cru Les Petits Vougeot 2011
Normally $210.00
Special $126.00 Save 40%
9 available

Clerget Vougeot Label Burghound:
This is also elegant and admirably pure with its airy nose of both red and blue pinot fruit that telegraphs the minerality found on the delicious and highly refined mouth feel of the mid-palate that continues all the way through to the delicious, balanced and solidly lingering finish. Lovely stuff. 88-91 Points

Domaine Gourt de Mautens IGP Vaucluse Rouge MAGNUM 2010
Normally $199.95
Special $119.95 Save 40%

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: Inky ruby. Expressive aromas of black raspberry, cassis, potpourri and cracked pepper, with a hint of anise in the background. Intensely flavored, penetrating, precise and quite elegant, showing impressive spicy lift to its dark berry and lavender pastille flavors. Finishes extremely long, with fine-grained tannins, bright mineral cut and lingering spiciness. 93 Points

A wonderful late harvest Riesling from a great sweet wine vintage.
