Dubreuil-Fontaine Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru 2013 - Just $127.96 a Bottle by the Case!

Dubreuil-Fontaine 2013 Roi $127 haeder
Incredible value Grand Cru Red Burgundy
Clos du Roi is the most famous and respected of Corton's Grand Cru sites. It typically produces a wine of majesty and power, hence its regal name.
The mother rock here is limestone and the elevation of 300 to 320 metres, just below the crown of the hill, is perfect for Pinot Noir.
The standout 2013 wine for me at our Dubreuil-Fontaine tasting was the Corton Clos du Roi.
The wine is available at just $127.96 a Bottle by the case. I think that is simply amazing for a Grand Cru in today's strong Burgundy market.

Dubreuil-Fontiane Clos du Roi Label
Burghound: (from a .62 ha parcel). Here too there is just enough wood to warrant noting though it is sufficiently subtle that the expressive aromas of earth, game, smoke, forest floor and dark berry fruit aromas have no trouble being appreciated. There is excellent size, weight and power to the full-bodied flavors that possess excellent punch and ample minerality on the balanced, complex and solidly persistent finish. Note that this will require patience. 2025+.
