Francois Feuillet 2012 Red Burgundies. New Realeases. Very Limited

Francois Feuillet 2012 Header
Just released 2012 Red Burgundies:

Francois Feuillet and David Duband are partners in Burgundy. From very different backgrounds, Francois provides the business acumen and David is the experienced winemaker.

Feuillet purchased the vineyards of the legendary Jacky Truchot (Domaine Truchot-Martin) in 2005 to add to the vineyards acquired after the business was established in 1991. The vineyards are farmed en metayage by David Duband. They include Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru Clos Sorbes and Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers from the Truchot purchase as well as Echezeaux Grand Cru and Latricieres-Chambertin Grand Cru.

Wines are released under the David Duband and Francois Feuillet labels are identical. Francois takes his half of the cuvee, and David takes his half.

We have found a few of the highly rated 2012's to offer clients. The wines have excellent reviews.

Here are three examples....

Francois Feuillet Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers 2012
$235.00 a Bottle
Feuillet Sentiers Label
Antonio Galloni - Vinous: 2012 Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers is a great example of the vintage. Rose petals, sweet red berries and crushed rocks are all very much alive in the glass. Pointed and chiseled to the core, the 2012 impresses for its pure mineral-drenched mid-palate and finish. I very much like the sense of energy here. This is another vivid, crystalline wine endowed with superb purity and translucence. The 70% whole clusters are nicely integrated. Readers who can find the Sentiers should not hesitate. It is a gem. 92-94 Points

Francois Feuillet Echezeaux Grand Cru 2012
$380.00 a Bottle

Feuillet Echezeaux Label Burghound:
from 80+ year old vines in Les Rouges du Bas). A strikingly spicy nose of exotic green tea and red cherry displays added depth in the form of sandalwood and cinnamon nuances. The velvety and lush middle weight flavors posses both excellent volume and solid phenolic ripeness to the structural elements on the reasonably well-concentrated, mouth coating and persistent finish. This is really quite attractive and should age well yet be accessible after only a few years of bottle age if desired. 92 Points

Francois Feuillet Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2012
$472.50 a Bottle

Feuillet Charmes-Chambertin Label Antonio Galloni - Vinous:
The 2012 Charmes-Chambertin is all about texture. A round, sensual Burgundy, the 2012 flows across the palate with gorgeous resonance and sensuality. Dark red stone fruits, wild flowers, spices and a hint of citrus ring out on the generous finish. Today, it looks like the 2012 will offer a long drinking window beginning pretty much upon release91-93 Points
