Domaine Bruno Clair 2013 Burgundy Offer

Bruno Clair 2013 PA Header

Very small quantities available!

Domaine Bruno Clair was founded in 1979. Bruno is the grandson of Joseph Clair who founded the famous Domaine Clair-Dau in 1919. Unfortunately, following the death of Joseph, family disagreements led to the dismantling of Domaine Clair-Dau. Bruno was entrusted with the vineyards of his parents, brothers and sisters including parcels in Chambertin Clos de Beze, Clos St-Jacques, Vosne-Romanee and Chambolle-Musigny. Further purchases have seen the estate grown to 23 hectares.

Clair Bonnes-Mares label The domaine also owns a large parcel of Bonnes-Mares - 1.52 hectares in fact - most of which is leased to Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair until 2016. What is interesting about this holding is that the vines are within Morey-St-Denis, not Chambolle-Musigny and the domaine is the sole owner. Now there's a great options wine!

Today we present the 2013 Burgundies of Domaine Bruno Clair. Quantities available are extremely small and for that reason we have not added them our website.

    Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Dinner
The Premier Crus of Chambolle-Musigny Dinner at Noir

The next dinner in our communes of Burgundy series focuses on the top Premier Cru vineyards of Chambolle-Musigny.
Chambolle-Musigny is the home of some of Burgundy's most aromatic and charming red wines.
I have assembled a lineup of 11 different Premier Crus from 11 different Makers including J-F Mugnier, Georges Mugneret, Ghislaine Barthod, Hubert Lignier and Felettig. The vineyards include all of the big names including Les Amoureuses. It is an exciting array of wines spanning numerous vintages and finishing with a trio of 2002's and a mystery wine for a quick game of options.
This is a great opportunity to taste some very special wines from the delightful commune of Chambolle-Musigny.
