2010 Red Burgundies: Super Reviews, Appealing Prices!

Francois Feuillet and David Duband are partners in Burgundy. From very different backgrounds, Francois provides the business acumen and David is the experienced winemaker.

Feuillet purchased the vineyards of the legendary Jacky Truchot (Domaine Truchot-Martin) in 2005 to add to the vineyards acquired after the business was established in 1991.  The vineyards are farmed en metayage by David Duband. They include Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru Clos Sorbes and Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers from the Truchot purchase as well as Echezeaux Grand Cru and Latricieres-Chambertin Grand Cru.

Wines are released under the David Duband and Francois Feuillet labels are identical.

We have found a few of the highly rated 2010's to offer clients. The wines have received tremendous reviews from Antonio Galloni.

Here's one example...
Francois Feuillet Clos de la Roche
Grand Cru 2010
$315.00 a Bottle
Feuillet Roche Label
Antonio Galloni - Vinous: The 2010 Clos de la Roche opens with intriguing, exotic scents of tar, smoke, incense and licorice. The wine virtually explodes on the palate with a pure expression of fruit and intense minerality. Layers of flavor continue to build in all dimensions all the way through to the huge, dramatic finish. This is a dazzling effort, and quite possibly the very finest wine I have ever tasted from David Duband. 95-97 Points

2010's - Not to Be Missed

2010 was a great vintage across much of Europe. In Burgundy, Bordeaux and the Rhone it was exceptional.

Many wines have long sold out but we are always hunting reserve stocks down and have quite a good range to offer.
