Santenay is the most southerly of the major towns of the Cote d'Or. It is a major source for both red and white wines, which deliver plenty of bang for your buck.
The Girardin family have been vintners since the beginning of the 19th century. A generational change has just occured at this domaine and it is now run by the son Justin, with the assistance of his father Jacques (who is the brother of Vincent Girardin) and Jacques' wife Valerie. Note the new labels on these latest releases. The domaine own 17 hectares of vines, mostly in Santenay and Savigny-Les-Beaune.
The 2013's from Domaine Girardin arrive next week. Many of our clients have tasted, and loved, the wines from this small domaine and the 2013's will continue the trend.
