Chateau Beauchene was a great little discovery. Past vintages have completely sold out and the new 2014 is on the way..
We have opened Chateau Beauchene Cotes-du-Rhones many times at tastings, parties, dinners and bbqs. Not once has anyone said they do not love the wine. The wine always has plenty of flavour and interest, but is not heavy and rich. It is a real crowd pleaser with drinkers of all types.
That is evidenced by the amount of prior vintages we have sold.
The Bernard family has lived in Orange since the 17th century. Originally tenant farmers, the Bernards were to profit from the social upheavals of the French Revolution, buying their first vineyard soon after the conflict in 1794. This vineyards are still in their hands today.
