Rare Whites from Nuits-St-Georges

Have you tried a white wine from the Cote de Nuits? It is certainly a rare beast.

Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux is an 8.61 hectare estate in Nuits-St-Georges. The husband and wife are well connected - Claire is a cousin of the owners of Domaine Robert Chevillon and Philippe is the brother of Jerome from Domaine Jerome Chezeaux who is also in our portfolio.

Chevillon-Chezeaux are one of a small number of producers who produce a white wine from the Cote de Nuits. Of the 12,000 hectolitres of wine produced on average annually in Nuits St-Georges only 3% is white.

The wines are produced from a mutation of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Needless to say they are Rare.

From the domaine's reserve stocks we have a small amount of white 1er Cru Les Bousselots from the highly rated vintages of 2000 and 2004.

The wines are offered Pre Arrival at our usual 15% discount.

If you are adventurous or would like to have some very unusual wines for your next options competition these are a must. We only have a case of each available so don't delay.

We offer the wines as a Pair for $217.00.

That's just over $100.00 a Bottle for aged Premier Cru white Burgundy!
