Vintage Port - one of the bargains of the wine world

Back in 2012 we did a major offer of vintage port direct from the Symington Family houses. It was very well received and many of you took advantage of the opportunity to procure some back vintages with impeccable provenance.

Warres Label Last week I met again with Symington's and they expressed their eagerness for us to market their wines in Australia. The Symingtons own many of the greatest Port houses including Graham's, Dow's, Warre's, Cockburn, Quinta do Vesuvio, Gould Campbell and Smith Woodhouse. That provides a terrific range of styles and with a handsome range of back vintages available there is something for all port lovers.

Vesuvio Label Whilst we prepare our full offer we present a range of Vintage Ports from Warre's and Quinta do Vesuvio. These wines are already in Australia so they can be delivered rapidly.

There is a fine selection back to 1970 as well as half bottles and Magnums. Vintage Port remains one of the great value wines of the world. Ports with 15 years cellar age are often only around the $150 mark.

55 Years Old!
Last few bottles of delightful 1960 Vintage Port
At 55 years of age these show just how well properly cellared vintage port can age.
We have a few bottles of Dow, Sandeman, Taylor and Warre in stock.
I have consumed them all and they are all delicious.
A rare opportunity to buy properly cellared Port. And at prices that make many new releases look expensive.
