There is no doubt that Corton is on the rise. The quality and drinkability of recent releases is quite stunning. And the nice thing is that the wines are still tremendous value.
The Trophy winning Corton at the International Wine Challenge 2012 was the Domaine du Pavillon Corton Clos des Marechaudes Monopole 2010.
We sold out of these a long time ago but we have just been offered additional bottles from reserve stocks at the domaine. They too are almost gone.
Remember this wine is from the exceptional 2010 vintage. Don't miss it!

Tim Atkin MW: Owned entirely by Albert Bichot, this vineyard produces wines with power and texture. The result is extremely impressive in 2010, showing layer upon layer of sweet, refreshing flavours and none of the occasional Corton coarseness. The wine combines elegance with ripeness and concentration. 95 Points
