The Girardin family have been vintners since the beginning of the 19th century. Today, the domaine is run by Jacques (who is the brother of Vincent Girardin), his wife Valerie and their son Justin. The domaine own 17 hectares of vines, mostly in Santenay and Savigny-Les-Beaune.
The new vintage form this domaine is 2013. It is another small vintage. This usually means a hike in prices. But not at Domaine Jacques Girardin. In fact he prices have actually gone down!
