Serious Brunello di Montalcino from a great year. Very Limited!

The 2010 vintage is Brunello di Montalcino is extremely highly regarded. Some have gone as far as to label it the vintage of a lifetime. Those more cautious rate it as one of the best in recent decades. Tim Atkin MW says "At their best, they are delicious, combining freshness, structure, opulence and balance. In style, the top wines combine the best elements of previous excellent vintages: the energy of 2004 and 2006, and the elegance of 2007 and 1997, perhaps."

We have two cases of a terrific Brunello for lovers of Italian wine.

San Felice Brunello di Montalcino Campogiovanni 2010

$125.00 a Bottle

Antonio Galloni:  Campogiovanni
Dark red cherries, mocha, smoke, new oak, tobacco and spices are some of the notes that flesh out in the 2010 Brunello di Montalcino from Campogiovanni. Fleshy and seductive on the palate, the 2010 possesses terrific depth, richness and volume, all in a round, supple style that offers plenty of near and medium-term appeal. This is an excellent choice for drinking over the next decade or so.
