Domaine Jean-Michel Guillon was established in 1980. Jean-Michel was in aeronautics and when he caught the wine bug he did so big-time! In the ensuing years the domaine, which started from scratch, has grown to an impressive 13 hectares and features a range of vineyards mostly in Gevrey-Chambertin. These include a lovely range of Gevrey Premier Crus and the Grand Crus Mazis-Chambertin and Clos Vougeot.

This is a great place to explore the terroirs of Gevrey-Chambertin as Jean-Michel now has five different Premier Crus!

We offer 15 different wines at 15% discount with prices starting at just $39.95.

Guillon Clos Vougeot label

Burghound: A brooding and largely inexpressive nose speaks of pungently earthy cool dark berry fruit aromas where additional breadth is present in the form of humus, underbrush and floral notes. There is excellent punch and plenty of power evident on the muscular and broad-shouldered flavors that exhibit fine depth and length as well as a touch of backend wood on the overtly austere finish. Note that like the Mazis, this too will require plenty of cellar time. 91-94 Points
