Fast becoming one of our top sellers, Chevillon-Chezeaux offer delicious wines from Nuits-St-Georges at exceptional prices
Our 2013 allocation is over 50% sold
Like Corton, a wind of change is sweeping through Nuits-St-Georges. Whilst retaining the commune's character numerous makers are producing wines with more finesse and greater drinkability. One of those makers is Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux.
Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux is an 8.61 hectare estate in Nuits-St-Georges. They own 14 different appellations but the jewels in the crown are their five 1er Cru Reds including Les St-Georges.
The husband and wife are well connected - Claire is a cousin of the owners of Domaine Robert Chevillon and Philippe is the brother of Jerome from Domaine Jerome Chezeaux who is also in our portfolio.
Many of you have purchased the 2011's and 2012's and I know from the feedback that the wines have been very well received. They are Nuits-St-Georges of real finesse and are simply delicious drinking, particularly for this commune traditionally known for tannic, unyieldng wines.
We are pleased to offer the 2013 vintage Pre Arrival. As usual we offer a 15% discount. This increases to 20% for purchases of a full case of a single wine. The wines are always exceptional value and I am pleased to report that prices have either remained stable or gone down a little due to the superior exchange rate at the moment.
We feature the famous Les St-Georges below, currently being considered for elevation to Grand Cru status. However, make sure you don't miss the other wines especially Les Bousselots (from the Vosne-Romanee end) and Les Porets - two of my personal favourites.

With Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru Les St-Georges applying for promotion to Grand Cru status there is considerable interest in the commune. Les St-Georges has long been considered one of the likely candidates based on quality and the feeling that Nuits-St-Georges is somewhat hard done by with no Grand Crus. You can read an article in Decanter Magazine here.
Compare this to other Les St-Georges in the market. This is a bargain!
