12 Wines, 6 Grand Crus
Try the wines of the "new" Domaine Castagnier at our next dinner
It is always fun to taste the wines of a new producer. Our first shipment from Domaine Castagnier presents lots of interesting wines for lovers of Burgundy.
Domaine Castagnier own some wonderful old vines in the Cote de Nuits.
In 2007 Jerome Castagnier took over from his father Guy and like so many of these generational changes in Burgundy the quality of the wines from this small domaine has soared.
Today's Castagnier red wines are deeply coloured with vibrant, sappy fruit. They capture the essence of their appellations and with a bevy of old vines they have depth and texture. They are charming with delicious flavours.
This dinner will feature 12 wines, 6 of which are Grand Crus. The wines will be accompanied by a 4-course meal at one of our favourite restaurants - Noir - in Richmond. Click here to visit Noir's website.
