Domaine Antonin Guyon 2012 and 2013 Burgundy Pre Arrival Offer

Guyon 2012 2013 Header

2012 and 2013 Burgundy from one of the region's most consistent performers....

Domaine Guyon commenced in 1960 when Antonin purchased parcels of vines from Gevrey-Chambertin in the north to Meursault in the south. Over the years the holdings have been expanded and today Domaine Guyon produces wines from a terrific range of different appellations in some of Burgundies best communes. The domaine is now almost 50 hectares in size with magnificent 18th century cellars in Savigny-les-Beaune.

The domaine is reviewed by both the English and French wine writers. Great reviews are enjoyed from all the major French publications and John Gilman (A View from the Cellar) and Burghound also rates the wines of Domaine Antonin Guyon highly.

Guyon Gevrey Justice We are a little behind wiuth this domaine so we have decided to offer both 2012 and 2013 vintages together. Being a large domaine perhaps they have not been as affected by the small vintages of recent years and prices have remained stable (great news for Burgundy lovers).

We offer a large raneg of wines from generic up to Grand Cru. Considering the price movements at some domaines there is some great value to be enjoyed on the outstanding 2012's and 2013's.

Moissenet Pommard

Pommard -

Built to Age

Pommard has traditionally been built to age. The wines are very popular in France but do not have the same following in Australia.

Over the last decade we have seen a movement away from the tough, often rustic, wines of yesteryear to a more pliant, drinkable style. Today, Pommard presents some great wine, still with driving tannin and acidity, but also with aromatics and nuance.

We have a pleasant range available from domaine who we feel offer drinking pleasure at the right price.
