The Secret is Out! One of Chateauneuf's Best Kept Secrets - Save 40% on a Fantastic Rhone‏

Solitude Secrete

One of Chateauneuf's Best Kept Secrets! Now in Australia....

Domaine de la Solitude's Chateauneuf-du-Pape Reserve Secrete is one of the great discoveries of Chateauneuf-du-Pape.

Solitude Secrete Label It is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre from very old vines, cropped at extremely low levels.

It is a special wine only made in vintages where the quality is extremely high.

The domaine has clearly got this right as I doubt you could find a more consistently highly rated wines as this. It is always at the top of the Chateauneuf ratings year-in, year-out.

We are pleased to offer a range of vintages of this tremendous wine direct from the domaine and during our Bin Ends Sale you can save 40% on this remarkable cuvee.

We have 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2010 available, all have come direct from the domaine. Check out the scores and reviews for the range - they will impress! All four wines score 93+ to 98!

Solitude Cornelia Constanza Label

And don't miss the 100% Grenache Cuvee Cornelia Constanza

Another killer from Domaine de la Solitude.

Made from 100% old vine Grenache this is a totally different style to the Reserve Secrete.

We have 13 bottles of the 2009 available.
Jeb Dunnuck, The Rhone Report: The 2009 Domaine de la Solitude (Lançon Père et Fils) Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Cornelia Constanza is 100% Grenache that comes all from sandy soils and is aged mostly in concrete, but with 10% of the blend in new oak. Showing a lighter red, transparent color, as well as gorgeously perfumed aromatics of kirsch, strawberry, sweet spice, fresh flowers, and licorice, the wine is full-bodied on the palate and possesses a voluptuous, yet elegant texture, sweet fruit, good acidity, and silky, ripe tannin on the finish. This needs 1-3 years of bottle age, and it should drink beautifully for 12-15 years.
