Domaine Castagnier own some wonderful old vines in the Cote de Nuits.
In 2007 Jerome Castagnier took over from his father Guy and like so many of these generational changes in Burgundy the quality of the wines from this small domaine has soared.
Today's Castagnier wines are deeply coloured with vibrant, sappy fruit. They capture the essence of their appellations and with a bevy of old vines they have depth and texture. They are charming with delicious flavours.
We present the delightful 2011's.
They are, at the moment, an incredible bargain. Where else can you buy Grand Crus from the north at just $157.00?
