The white wines of Domaine Morey-Coffinet continue to grow in stature. Since winning young winemaker of the year in 2010 the domaine has continued its rise into the top echelon.
Our 2012's are on the way from France. Being another small vintage means another smaller than ideal allocation. Numerous wines are extremely low. For instance we only have 2 bottles of Blanchots Dessus left and 3 bottles of Puligny Pucelles to sell.
This is our sixth vintage of Morey-Coffinet and many of you will be very familiar with the domaine's fine, fresh, classy style.
Once again the wines have been very well reviewed. The Batard-Montrachet is Burghound's equal top wine of the vintage alongside Henri Boillot, Sauzet and Chateau de la Maltroye. It outscores Domaine Leflaie again. Need I remind you of the prices for the other producers?
For the first year Domaine Morey-Coffinet will be introducing wax capsules. Not only are they prestigious in appearance but they will ensure the longevity of the wines.
As usual, our Pre Arrival Prices, which save you 15%, are valid until the wine lands. I suspect a number of wines will sellout before they land in Australia.
