Great Quality at an Affordable Price
There is always lots of talk about which Premier Crus warrant elevation to Grand Cru status. For me, the most worthy wine is Meursault Perrieres. It is a wine that constantly delivers quality and style with the much loved minerality and long spine that makes white Burgundy so special.
This quality usually comes at a premium price as the producers and the market know quality when they see it.
One example that consistently outperforms bigger names is Bitouzet-Prieur. The 2012 is in stock and it is a cracker! Unfortunately, we have just 23 bottles remaining.
If you like Grand Cru quality and style without the price take a look at this wine.
Meursault 1er Cru Perrieres 2012
In Stock $147.50
Powerful nose of white peach and minerals. Expansive and fresh. The palate has excellent volume and concentration with a strong underlying minerality driving the wine. Mouthcoating with super length. Very stony and focused. The 2010 was great but I think this wine is a level up again. Great Perrieres! Don't miss! DH
As goods as many Grand Crus that cost twice as much! Remember - only 23 bottles left!
