Domaine Rouge-Bleu was founded in 2006. Part of a 400 year old Provencal farm, the property included 8 hectares of old vines - Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre.
A couple of years ago the domaine was purchased by Caroline Jones and her partner Thomas Bertrand. Caroline is from Western Australia and Thomas is from the Vosges mountains in France. They have continued the tradition begun by Jean-Marc Espinnase including organic practices in the vineyards.
Caroline and Thomas were delighted to receive an exceptional review from the Houston Chronicle for the 2011 Mistral. The review is reproduced alongside (click the image to enlarge).
