Quite a gamey nose – edgy and finely etched minerally nose but pretty youthful. Wait! GV for those with patience.

Wine Enthusiast - Anne Krebiehl MW

A touch of toasty, smoky oak accents ripe, aromatic, red cherry on the nose of this wine. The slender palate also has a mellow, ripe texture, countered by bright freshness. Smooth, fine tannins become apparent on the finish and bode well for the evolution of this elegant wine. This cuvée is also labeled under the Domaine Jacques Girardin brand.

Darren Harris

Deep bright garnet. Cherry, raspberry, quite zingy. There are minerals in abundance. Not as ripe as Maladiere. Blossomed in the glass becoming refined, stylish and very textured. Complex and interesting in the mouth with many layers. Lovely juice! Long finish. Everything is in balance. This is very good indeed.
