Coste-Caumartin have a 1.65 hectare parcel of this vineyard which is located on the border of Volnay. The vineyard was originally the property of the Maiziere Abbey and the name in old French means firm and solid. Indeed the strength of this vineyard is the combination of elegance and firmness. An expansive aromatic nose with cherry, white pepper, greengage and smokey notes. Excellent attack blossoming into a fine mid palate with elegant fruit and fine tannins on the finish. The presence of rock as well as clay ensures the finesse of this vineyard.

Gilbert & Gaillard

Purple color, young reflections. Fine woody nose on a background of Morello cherries, spices, forest ambience. The mouth displays the fruit right from the attack enriched with a sweet and slender floral sensation, the breeding bringing an elegant tannic touch. A guaranteed future.
