Guide Hachette

A new favorite for Jérôme Castagnier, who has perfectly mastered the terroir of Bonnes-Mares. Reputed to give fairly austere wines, this grand cru shows a delicate profile here. The nose opens with notes of black fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant) of great finesse, embellished with a well-integrated woodiness (fourteen to sixteen months of barrel aging) which gives it additional complexity. The mouth is full, rich and long, with noble and silky tannins. Remarkable Wine. Coup de Coeur.
