(from vines located in Volnay). A ripe, pretty and fresh nose proffers notes of various red berries, earth and soft floral nuances. There is a relatively refined mid-palate mouth feel to the medium weight flavors though there is a bit of rusticity evidenced by the lingering, firm and balanced finale. A quality Bourgogne. The Fine Wine Review
The first thing I notice about this wine is the complexity in the nose. Then in the mouth, the wine shows minerality, purity, and length, along with acidity that is mouth-watering, and juiciness. The fruits are dark and fresh. This will provide good drinking for those looking for a bargain.
