5 ha. They separated out the Dessus portion for the first time for this wine. Lively and fresher than the Perrières with greater integrity and definition. Some length too. Quite long.

Vinous: Stephen Tanzer

(bottled two weeks before my visit): Very pale, bright yellow. White peach, vanillin oak and saline dusty stone on the nose, lifted by a lavender topnote. Slightly high-toned and expressive in the mouth, offering noteworthy energy and lift. The wine's firm acidity has not yet completely harmonized with its fruit and yet this wine is less tight than the Perrières.

This is presently very firmly reduced and thus it was impossible to evaluate the nose. By contrast there is excellent volume and concentration to the wonderfully tension-filled medium-bodied flavors that brim with minerality before terminating in an explosively long and intense finale. I very much like the balance as well as the depth of material and while this beauty will definitely require patience it should be more than worth the wait. (91-93)/2023+
