John Gilman "View from the Cellar"

As I noted above, the 2014 Chassagne “Caillerets” was still in tank at the time of my visit and was absolutely singing. The great young nose soars from the glass in a nascently complex blend of lemon, pear, a touch of tangerine, kaleidoscopic minerality, floral tones and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine si deep, full-bodied and absolutely rock solid at the core, with a fine sense of youthful reserved, laser-like focus, racy acids and outstanding length and grip on the zesty and electric finish. This is a great example of this superb terroir. 2020-2040+.

Bill Nanson "The Burgundy Report"

A width of almost textured aroma here. Lithe, mineral, with just a suggestion of padding. A lovely weight of citrus infused, suggestion of sweetness, flavour. Great finishing flavour too, bravo – such weight and persistence.

Wine Advocate - Neal Martin

The 2014 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Cailleret is well worth seeking out. It has a tightly wound, earthy bouquet that is quite Puligny-like in style, touches of cold granite developing in the glass. The palate is fresh on the entry, quite tensile with a twist of bitter lemon and lemongrass towards the controlled, quite linear finish. The terroir shows through confidently here, creating an excellent Chassagne-Montrachet.

Very classic, powerful wines and very serious in style.
